Tipperary head into next weekend's National Football League clash with Waterford full of optimism.

That's after the Premier County began their Division 4 campaign with a 19 point thrashing of Carlow at Dr. Cullen Parl last Sunday.

That was in complete contrast to last year, when Peter Creedon's side lost their opening two matches and never recovered, eventually being relegated.

They'll be hoping to make it two wins from two on Sunday, when the Deise visit Clonmel.

Tipp FM will bring you live coverage of the game; throw-in is at 2 o' clock, with our build-up getting underway from 1:30.

Tipperary's Peter Acheson says they're full of confidence and in peak condition
