Tipperary rivals meet in schools hurling final

This afternoon it's an all Tipperary affair in the Rice Cup final – the Under 14 competition for schools in Munster and South Leinster will see Thurles CBS and Nenagh CBS meet.

Former Tipp legend John Costigan is himself a former winner of the Rice Cup in 1959.

He says the competition will give people a chance to see the inter-county hurling stars of the future.

Throw-in is at 4 o'clock this afternoon in Templederry.
