The Tipperary senior hurlers are in action this afternoon.
Liam Cahill’s men renew rivalries with Kilkenny in UPMC Nowlan Park at 1.15pm in their National Hurling League clash.
With The Premier on 6 points from four games so far, a win would see them move a step closer to a place in a league final.
Hurling analyst Cian Treacy believes Tipp will be keen on getting a result today:
“I think the need is greater for Tipp.
“I think Liam (Cahill) will have big designs on a league final place and the performances so far and the performance levels have shown us so.
“I just think this could be a day for Tipperary where as I said the need is greatest and probably targetting the league a little bit more than Kilkenny and Derek Lyng are.”
Tipp FM will have live commentary of today’s game with thanks to Arrabawn Stores.
