Tipperary secured their place in the All-Ireland senior hurling quarter-finals with a win over Laois today.

Liam Cahill’s side triumphed in their preliminary quarter-final clash at O’Moore Park in Portlaoise, with the victory setting up a showdown with Galway next weekend.

An early Tipperary goal from Jason Forde allowed the premier county to emerge into an early lead that they continued for the duration of the match.

The game finished on a full time score of 3-32 to 18 points
