Tipperary Camogie team face defeat in championship opener

Tipperary’s U23 camogie team suffered defeat to Galway in their opener of the The All-Ireland U23 camogie championship, with a full-time score of 15 points to 8 after Galway continued a strong lead for most of the games playtime.

Managed by last year’s All-Ireland junior-winning coach Bill Mullaney, Tipp will look to regroup as they continue their campaign in a tough group featuring Kilkenny, Cork, and Waterford.
