Kilkenny needed an injury time point from TJ Reid to ensure a Leinster semi-final replay at O' Moore Park in Portlaoise against the Dubs last weekend, but there was no sucvh luck this time.

In an exciting replay last night, Dublin ran out 1-16 to 0-16 winners over the All-Ireland champions, their first provincial win against the Cats since 1942.

Dublin controlled the game and Danny Sutcliffe scored the crucial goal for Anthony Daly's side in the 54th minute.

That means that Kilkenny will host Tipperary in what's sure to be a tense and exciting Phase II clash at Nowlan Park next Saturday evening.
