Charlie McKeever's side held off a late fightback from Cork to reach the Munster final.
Tipp led by 5 points to 1 at half time but must be conscious of eight wides in the first half.
Alan Tynan contributed 7 of Tipperary's points – 5 of them from frees.
11 points to 8 the final score at Semple Stadium last evening.
Tipp will now meet Kerry in the Munster Final on Sunday July 7th after Kerry beat Waterford in last nights other semi-final.
This is a repeat of last years Munster Final when the Premier County defeated the Kingdom by 3 points.
