Tipp racecourse boss gets Cork post

However, Andrew Hogan won't be leaving his post in the Premier County and will instead combine both roles.

The Nenagh native, who rode as amateur jockey during his days as a student in LIT, has been boss at the Tipp track since October 2013.
He says he's looking forward to taking up the new position.

His appointment is also being welcomed by the CEO of Horse Racing Ireland Brian Kavanagh and the Chairman of Cork Racecourse Tom Gaffney.
