Tipp players involved in Fitzgibbon Cup action.

Tipperary players played a big part in yesterday's Fitzgibbon Cup quarter final between Mary Immaculate of Limerick and Dublin IT.

Mary Immaculate emerged victorious on a scoreline of 1-18 to 0-15.

Lining out for Mary Immaculate were Shane Nolan and Andrew Ryan of Toomevara, Eanna Hogan and Niall O'Meara  of Kilruane McDonaghs and Mullinahone's Sean Curran while Eoin Hogan of Mullinahone came on as a sub.

Kieran Bergin of Killenaule lined out for D.I.T

Also through to the semi-finals are defending champions UCC who came from behind to beat Cork IT – 1-13 to 1-11 the final score.

Again there was a strong Tipperary presence in this one…..with Stephen Maher of Thurles Sarsfield's, Upperchurch Drombane's James Barry and Dan McCormack of Borrisoleigh lining out for UCC.
