Limerick beat the defending champions in the provincial semi-final last evening in Semple Stadium.

1-17 to 0-17 points the final score with Ronan Lynch contributing 1-7 of the Limerick tally including a 53rd minute penalty.

Josh Keane was Tipp's top scorer with 7 points including 4 from frees.

Limerick will now face Waterford in the Munster final.
