An early goal from a penalty by Jake Morris saw Tipp race ahead but Cork responded with a goal by Conor Cahalane ensuring the rebels led 1-9 to 1-7 at the break.

Both sides were in the mix in the second half as a Stephen Nolan goal edged Tipp ahead.

Cork responded with points before a Conor Stakelum goal in added time saw the premier county crowned champions.

After the game Tipp manager Liam told Tipp FM Sport he was elated and absolutely thrilled for his players.
