Mairead Eviston says the Tipperary supporters can make a big difference to their game this weekend.
The Drom-Inch club woman is centre back on the Tipperary senior camogie team, who take on Kilkenny in their All-Ireland quarter-final on Sunday.
The game gets underway at 1.30pm in Croke Park as part of the double header with the hurling semi-final at 4pm.
With a large Tipperary crowd expected, Eviston is encouraging supporters to get in early to cheer them on:
“It’s brilliant to be able to get up and play the quarter-final in Croke Park especially ahead of the hurling match as well.
“It being Tipp versus Kilkenny as well it’s a great occasion and a great day for both counties.
“We are just hoping we can get as many Tipp supporters into the match for 1.30pm as we possibly can because it makes such a difference.”
We’ll have live commentary of the camogie quarter-final at 1.30pm on Sunday with thanks to Martin O Dwyer butchers, Friar St., Cashel.
