Tipp senior hurlers line out for UL today

A number of Tipperary senior hurlers feature for the University of Limerick game this afternoon, as they take on DCU in the Fitzgibbon Cup final.

Jason Forde, John McGrath, Barry Heffernan and Paul Maher are all expected to be rested in Tipp’s clash with Kilkenny tomorrow – following this afternoon’s game.

Manager Michael Ryan told reporters after last weekend’s win over Wexford : that the players wouldn’t feature in 2 games in 24 hours.
