Tipp senior footballers through to Munster semi-final

The Tipperary senior footballers are through to the Munster semi-final.

Philly Ryan’s team beat Waterford in their quarter-final clash in FBD Semple Stadium last night on a full time score of 1-22 to 1-19.

Captain Steven O’Brien scored 1-08 in the first half for the Premier whilst Cian Smith scored 6 points in his championship debut.

Tipp led by 10 points in the second half and manager Philly Ryan admitted there was a few nervous moments at the end

Tipperary will play Clare in the Munster semi-final on Saturday April 19th at 2pm in Ennis.
