Tipp minor hurlers are in action this afternoon, and are aiming to book their spot in their All Ireland Final.

Kilkenny stand in their way – having lost the Leinster final against Galway, the Cats overcame Limerick last weekend to secure the All Ireland semi final tie with the Premier.

Tipperary emerged victorious in Munster earlier in the summer – with the county’s third title in 4 years.

This group of players are a year younger than minor squads that have gone before them – with the age grade down at under 17.

Manager Tommy Dunne says playing in Croke park in front of tens of thousands of spectators will stand to his players in years to come…

The minor game is live here on Tipp FM on Sunday afternoon – throw-in is at 1.30.
