The Tipperary Ladies footballers have suffered a shaky start to their Munster championship campaign after a loss against Waterford

Ed Burke’s side begun their round robin with a home clash against Waterford earlier this afternoon

Cork and Kerry were also in the round robin, with the finishing spots determining the seedings for the All-Ireland championship draw.

The match threw in at 2pm in Fethard town Park and the opposition emerged in an early lead and managed to retain it for the entire match.

The final scoreline finished up Waterford 2-9 to Tipperary 1-7
