Tipperary are aiming to win an All-Ireland camogie title this afternoon.

The Tipperary junior side take on Laois at 1.05pm in Croke Park in this year’s All-Ireland premier junior camogie final.

After losing last year’s decider to Clare, Bill Mullaney’s side will be hoping to secure Tipp’s 3rd ever junior title and first since 2001.

Tipperary captain Sinead Meagher says she’s been taking some advice from players who played in last year’s final.

Meanwhile at half-time of the senior final, the 1999 All-Ireland winning Tipperary team will be honoured on the pitch.

“A few of those girls have probably said that the game probably passed them by but look this year we are just going to really settle into the game, play as well as we can.

“We know what we can bring, we’ve done it in the league, we’ve done it in the championship so it’s all about bringing a performance.”

We’ll have live commentary of that game on Tipp FM with thanks to Casey Tiles and Wooden Floors, Cahir – see caseytiles.ie.
