Tipperary’s Aisling McCarthy says last years successes count for nothing as the county’s Ladies Footballers head into a new campaign.

The Premier County gained promotion to Division 2 of the National League as well as winning the All Ireland Intermediate title.

They’ve made the long trip north to take on Armagh in their first game of the new season.

McCarthy – the Intermediate Players Player of the Year for 2017 and Anerville Award winner – says they’re relishing the step up in status.
