Two Tipperary cyclists have become the first tandem pair to complete the Race Around Ireland.
Sean Hahessy from Carrick on Suir and Drombane’s Peter Ryan finished the 2,150 kilometre ultra-endurance event in a time of 123 hours 32 minutes.

Speaking to Tipp FM shortly after they finished Sean said the lack of sleep was without doubt the toughest part of the challenge.
