Taylor aiming for WBA crown

Katie Taylor says she aims to unify the world lightweight titles, if she wins the WBA crown next month.

Taylor will fight for her first world title when she meets Anahi Esther Sanchez of Argentina in Cardiff on October 28th.

Sanchez only won the WBA title last weekend, and was the only lightweight champion willing to meet the Bray native.

The bout is on the undercard to Anthony Joshua’s heavyweight title defence against Kubrat Pulev.
