McGeever hoping to be part of first Irish men’s swim relay team to compete in Olympics

Ireland has been invited to send teams to both the Men’s 4×200 metres Freestyle Relay and 4×100 Medley Relay at the Tokyo Olympics.

Both teams achieved their historic times at the European Championships and will be Ireland’s first male Olympic swimming relay teams.

Ballina’s Finn McGeever was part of the squad which qualified Ireland for the freestyle event – he now has to wait and see if he makes the team for Tokyo.
