Success for Tipperary athletes at National U20 & U23 Indoors

There was plenty of success for Tipperary athletes at the National Indoor U20 & U23 Athletics Championships over the weekend.

Clonmel AC’s Emer Brennan took gold in the women’s 800m U20 final, coming home in a time of 2:12:80.

Meanwhile, Nenagh Olympic AC’s Padraig Hassett successfully defended his men’s U23 200m title, taking gold in 21.59 seconds.

There was also gold for Nenagh’s Laura Frawley in the Women’s U23 long jump whilst she also won bronze in both the shot put and high jump whilst also winning silver in the WFD (28lb).

Nenagh’s Clara Miniter also secured bronze in the Women’s U20 weight for distance final (20lb).
