Stander a doubt for European semi with ankle injury

CJ Stander has emerged as a doubt for Munster’s European Champions Cup semi-final against Saracens later in the month.

Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus has confirmed the Irish international is unlikely to be fit for Saturday’s Guinness PRO12 derby with Ulster.

The number 8 suffered an ankle injury in the quarter-final win over Toulouse nine days ago.

But on the positive side, Erasmus says he is hopeful Conor Murray will be fit to face Ulster on this weekend in Thomond Park.
