It’s a massive day for St. Michael’s AFC today.
The Tipp Town side are in the quarter-final of the FAI Junior Cup, the biggest cup competition in the country.
The Saints welcome Wexford side North End United to Cooke Park for a 3pm kick-off.
Speaking on Across The Line, soccer analyst Barry Ryan believes the visitors will be a tough assignment for St. Michaels:
“I think it’s a real 50/50 game.
“I’ve been like a broken record being a little bit concerned about the St. Michael’s back line and if you put me on the spot, I think they might get undone on Sunday, I hope not.
“They have the firepower at the other end with Jimmy Carr, Ed O’Dwyer, David Slattery who is in superb form, I just have a feeling that they have been getting away with it in that backline and I just think Sunday might be the day that it doesn’t work out.”
