“Special” day for Abbey CBS in Drummond Cup final

The Tipp School are in an All-Ireland 'B' football final for the third time in their history having won the title in 1998, but lost out to Our Lady's of Castleblayney in 2005. 

Damian O'Brien was part of the team that won the 1998 trophy and has now reached his second Drummond Cup final only this time as manager.

Speaking on GAA.ie he said it's a very special day for the players and the school.

That game throws-in today at 1.30pm in Croke Park and Stephen Gleeson will be at the match for Tipp FM Sport.
