Tipperary Cup heading to Two Mile Borris

Two Mile Borris FC have won a major trophy for the first time in over 30 years.

That’s after they sprung an upset and beat St. Michael’s 5-3 on penalties in last night’s TSDL Tipperary Cup final in Cahir Park.

Ed O’Dwyer opened the scoring for the Saints before Benny Connolly equalised with a header which left the game 1-1 after extra time.

Borris won the shootout 5-3 to claim a famous victory.
