Premier League Action

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he hasn’t given up hope of sneaking into the Premier League’s top four by the end of the season.

His side were 2-nil winners over Manchester United yesterday and are now six points behind 4th placed Manchester City with a game in hand, which will be played on Wednesday when they travel to Southampton.
That result was also good news for Liverpool in their quest for Champions League football next year.

They could only draw nil-all at home to Southampton, but Man United’s defeat means their top 4 hopes are still in their own hands.

Wins in their last two games over West Ham and Middlesbrough now guarantees them a top 4 spot.
Tonight Chelsea can take another step towards sealing their second Premier League title in three years.

They host Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge, knowing a win would see them pull 7 points clear of Tottenham with three games to play.

Meanwhile defeat for Boro would confirm their relegation to the Championship after just a year in the top-flight.

Kick off is at 8pm.
