A former Carrick Utd player has declared for the Republic of Ireland.
Blackpool’s CJ Hamilton was born in England but grew up in Clonea Power in Waterford.
The 27 year old played hurling with Clonea and also lined out for Carrick Utd.
He has scored once for Blackpool this season having played 18 times for the Championship side.
