Following their Division 2A victory, Nenagh Ormond were named the Bank of Ireland senior club of the year.
There was also recognition for Tipp woman Beth Buttimer who was named the women’s breakthrough player of the year, with the 19-year-old having outstanding performances for club, province and country.
Meanwhile, there was more success locally as Loughmore’s Brian Gleeson was named the Academy player of the year in a season where he made his senior team debut with Graham Rowntree’s side.
Finally, Ballina’s Maeve Óg O’Leary was announced as the Bank of Ireland women’s player of the year for her performances over the season.
