Clonmel RFC facing into one of the biggest games in their history

The South Tipp side take on Limerick’s Old Crescent in the Munster Senior Cup semi-final this evening.

The game is set to get underway at 8pm in Takumi Park in Limerick, with Nenagh Ormond and Young Munster contesting the other semi-final on Friday night at 8pm.

Speaking on Extra-Time, Clonmel first team manager Joe Winston says it’s hard to believe how far the club has come.

“This Thursday coming we have the semi-finals of the Munster senior cup away to Old Crescent.

“It’s something we never thought we would be saying ten years ago, that we would be in the semi-finals of the Munster senior cup, we would be thinking people were mixing it up with the Munster junior cup!”
