The North Tipp club are officially opening their new all-weather pitch this Saturday.
The new playing surface is the latest addition to the New Ormond Park facility and will be opened at their Munster senior cup game against Cork Con at 2.30pm.
Speaking on Extra-Time, John Long, Director of Rugby at Nenagh Ormond, is looking forward to an entertaining day.
“We’ve been doing the development out there for the last couple of years now.
“We have a full-sized, world rugby recognised all weather surface fully finished, we have been training on it for the last couple of months and we have a training one being built at the moment that will be finished hopefully this week.
“We’re having our official opening on Saturday against Cork Con in Nenagh so we’d love to get a great crowd out, it’s free admission on the day and it should be an entertaining match as well to go with it.”
