Tipperary’s Daire Lynch has been named in the senior crews announced by Rowing Ireland for the European Championships in Bulgaria later this month.
The Clonmel man alongside his teammate Philip Doyle, won bronze at the Paris Olympics last year in the Men’s double sculls.

They have both been selected for the Europeans albeit in separate boats.
Doyle will be part of the quadruple sculls crew while Lynch is alongside Ross Corrigan in the men’s pair.
Back-to-back Olympic champion Paul O’Donovan is unavailable for Plovdiv, so Fintan McCarthy will be joined by Konan Pazzaia in the men’s double sculls.
