Nicole Drought from Roscrea has been nominated for Irish Motorsport's Young Driver of the Year award, and is hoping to win the main prize of a funded season of single-seater motor racing worth €50,000.
21-year-old Nicole will test drive a 300 brake horsepower SEAT Supercopa at Mondello Park next Friday, after scoring 5 podiums in her first season.

She also hopes that being the first woman ever to be nominated for the award will encourage more young women to get into the sport.
