Hughes and jockey Davy Russell teamed-up to help 6-to-4 favourite “Bright New Dawn” to a 3 length victory over ” Mala Beach” with “Jennies Jewel” in third.
The win saw Russell complete a 26-1 treble which also included “Raise Hell” in the Killinan Maiden Hurdle for Willie Mullins and with the Michael Cullen-trained “Carrig Millie” in the opening mares beginners chase.
