The game was re-fixed for Templetuohy after the Thurles grounds were deemed unplayable on Thursday night.
But following a pitch inspection yesterday afternoon, Semple Stadium was passed to hold the Round 2 game.
County Secetary Tim Floyd spoke to Tipp FM Sport about the decision to switch the venue back to Thurles after preparations were made in Templetuohy.
