Niamh Briggs is back in the Ireland Women’s squad

Niamh Briggs is back in the Ireland Women’s squad for the upcoming Six Nations.

The 33 year old was due to captain the side at the World Cup in the summer, but missed the tournament due to an Achilles injury.

New coach Adam Griggs has named nine uncapped players in this first squad.

Leinster centre Michelle Claffey and Connacht forwards Laura Feely and Edel McMahon are among those aiming for their Test debut.
