Newport AC’s Sharlene Mawdsley and her team placed sixth in the 4x400m final yesterday.
They were competing in the finals at the European championships in Munich

The Tipperary athlete was alongside Sophie Becker, Phil Healy and Rhasidat Adeleke.
They had qualified for the finals with a national record time of 3:26:06 in the heats.
