Clare will begin the defence of their League title away to Cork the same day.
The first Sunday will see a repeat of the epic All Ireland semi final, with Kilkenny taking on Waterford.
Tipperary footballers will hope to take their Championship form into the League, when they begin their Division Three campaign at home to Antrim on February 5th.
Elsewhere, Longford face Offaly, and Sligo take on Armagh.
The Saturday night match-up sees Laois face Louth.
Dublin's quest for five consecutive Football League titles begins with a trip to Division One newcomers Cavan on Sunday February 5th.
The same day, Donegal entertain Kerry, and Tyrone face Roscommon.
The honour of getting the Division One campaign underway belongs to Mayo and Monaghan who clash the night before on February 4th.
