It’s National Hurling League final day.
Tipperary take on Cork in a sold out SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in the Division 1A decider at 4pm.
The Premier’s last league title came back in 2008 whilst Cork are looking for a first league final victory since 1998.
Speaking on Across The Line, former Tipp manager Ken Hogan says the pressure is on the home side today:
“I think all the pressure is on Cork really, they are in another final, they have played in a couple of All-Irelands in the last number of years, it’s in Cork in their home patch, it seems to be a sell out with predominantly Cork people going to the game.
“I think it’s a great dress rehearsal for three weeks time and getting used to the that is Páirc Uí Chaoimh and getting used to the atmosphere of the crowd.
“Cork are under huge pressure to win a final and I think that’s suiting Tipperary.
“Liam won’t put too much pressure on the lads, he’ll be looking for a big performance for them but I think the pressure is definitely on the Leeside boys.”
