Tipperary manager Declan Ryan says he's pleased with the spirit his side showed during yesterdays 4 point win over Limerick in their Munster Championship quarter final at Semple Stadium.

The Premier trailed by 7 points at one stage in the second half but a goal from Brian O'Meara landed them back in the game – Tipp eventually winning on a scoreline of 2-20 to 1-19

Tipperary's Senior footballers were beaten by 16 points to 10 by Kerry but pushed the men from the Kingdom all the way.

Kerry will face Cork in the next round of the Munster Championship but were given a wake-up call by Peter Creedon's men.

The Tipp manager says they will be looking to build on yesterdays performance as they head into the qualifiers.
