Switching codes to hurling and Kilkenny set up a Walsh Cup semi-final date with Wexford after they comfortably beat Westmeath by 4-18 to 0-18 in Mullingar.

Galway also sealed a semi-final spot with a 1-19 to 0-16 win over Laois in Rathdowney.

Limerick claimed three wins out of four in the Munster League as they beat Kerry by 4-28 to 0-16 at the at the Gaelic Grounds.

Elsewhere, Clare beat Waterford by 2-19 to 3-13 at Fraher Field.
