Tipperary's Denis Lynch has been confirmed as one of the two showjumping riders that Ireland will send to the Olympics in London.
Ireland did not qualify a team for the event but did secure two individual slots.
Lynch was selected along with Cork's Billy Twomey by showjumping team manager Robert Splaine.
Denis Lynch feels he and Twomey may have an advantage over those riders who are jumping as part of a team.
