The Mid Tipp men take on Killarney’s Dr. Crokes in the Munster senior club football final at 1.30pm in Mallow.
If Loughmore were to win, they would be just the second team ever to have won both the Munster senior club hurling and football titles, with Cork’s St. Finbarr’s.
Loughmore manager Shane Hennessy says a win today would be special for the club:
“This would be massive, it would be a major achievement.
“Especially for our club, having won a Munster hurling club final in 2007, to put a second Munster club final beside that in the other code, that would really top it off to get the win on Sunday and to be known as dual Munster club champions, it would be a great achievement.”
Tipp FM will have full live commentary of today’s game with thanks to John Kennedy Motors, Toyota, Clonmel.
