Loughmore Castleiney crowned Division 2 hurling league champions

In the county Senior Hurling league, and in the Division 2 final Loughmore Castleiney won the Jim Devitt Cup final in hurling after a tight game against Kilruane MacDonaghs in Moneygall last night.

The sides were evenly matches throughout as MacDonaghs led by a goal on a 2-8 to 1-8 scoreline at the break.

The mid Tipp side won by a point in the end as the game finished 4-14 to 3-16.
