The British and Irish Lions produced their best performance of the summer so far with a nine point victory over the much-fancied Crusaders this morning.
There were fears Warren Gatland’s side could lose for the second time in four days, but came out on top in a 12-3 win.

All of the Lions’ points came from the boot of Owen Farrell, while scrum-half Conor Murray produced an excellent display.
Next up is a clash with the Highlanders on Wednesday, with the first test against the All Blacks now just two weeks away.
Speaking afterwards, Gatland was particularly pleased to hold the Super Rugby side to just 3 points.
