Limerick District League cancels current season

The Limerick District League has confirmed the cancellation of its current junior soccer season.

All divisions, which feature Nenagh AFC and Newport Town, have been concluded based on the safety and wellbeing of the clubs and players involved.

As a result, no champions will be crowned and promotion and relegation will not take place.

Local cup competitions have also been cancelled.

The 2020/21 season is due to get started on October 16th.
