Tipperary has a new world champion.
Borrisoleigh native Liam Devaney captured the WKA Pro K1 world kick-boxing title in London Saturday night.
The Tipp man defeated 3-time World Champion Reon Wong in the famous York Hall.
The bout went the full five rounds with Devaney winning via decision to take the title.
