A win for the Premier matched with a Cork win or draw against Galway would see Tipp back into a second straight league final.

Speaking on Across The Line, Tipperary manager Denis Kelly said the following

“This year’s league final is going to be in Semple Stadium so that puts an extra incentive when it’s at home but we have a body of work to do to get there and we’re depending on other results as well which isn’t ideal.

“All we can do is go out and do our best and hopefully get a win against Waterford and then see where that takes us.”
