Nenagh Éire Óg and Burgess played out a thrilling 1-20 to 2-17 draw in today's final at McDonagh Park.
The first-half failed to ignite, with Nenagh going in with a two point lead, on a 0-11 to 0-09 scoreline.
However, the excitement went up a few notches in the second period, with Burgess grabbing two goals, courtesy of Damien O' Brien and Brian Hogan.
It looked as if Burgess would get their hands on the trophy, but a late goal from Nenagh substitute Paul Ryan ensured that the sides will have to do it all again.
Meanwhile, Thurles Sarsfields are the new Mid Intermediate Hurling champions.
