Kingdom May Have To Plan Without Cooper

The Kerry County Board have confirmed that their star forward suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right knee while in action for his club, Dr Crokes during Saturday's All Ireland Club semi-final defeat to Castlebar Mitchels.

Scans on the injury this morning have shown the full extent of the damage and the 30-year-old will now undergo surgery in the near future to repair the damage.

The eight-time All Star is now facing a minimum if six months on the sidelines, which means he's unlikely to feature at all for the Kingdom this season.
